“Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[b] a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
If you find your gift, you'll find strength and passion. If you do things half-hazardly you'll always be employed. Put your life into what you know you have on the inside. People pay for years of investment. Soon you'll be a consultant, just to show up. Not necessarily your work.
He left the 99 at a safe place. Don't feel neglected or alone. Sometimes we are serving God and it feels like nothing is happening. You are safe and protected. You are provided for. Count your blessings. Sometimes we don't realize what we have and complain about what we do not have.
If a husband should not be harsh to his wife, as a woman, what does that mean for her? That is what I want you to think about. Not only what treatment others should give to you, but what that means when you are in contact with that person. Am I at the place that I know that I should be a certain individual to get a husband or a wife?
I put those verses there to remind us that we are valuable. We are of importance to God. He wants to remind you that He takes care of the birds of the air, the fish of the sea. His ROYAL PRIESTHOOD then must be taken care of. What do you think? What more will He do for you? Animals don't even worry about tomorrow. They are so resourceful too, how resourceful are you? How is your heart posture? Do you have gratitude? Most animals are known to function in groups or packs, are you going to allow the Holy Spirit on your team?
