TEA TIME WITH RUTHIE: Build Your Wall (Nehemiah 6)

This one is obviously geared towards building your wall, which is completing the work that God has given to you. After studying Nehemiah for a few months, one thing that I really admire about him is that he didn't wait on someone to tell him to rebuild the wall. His friends told him what was happening, he went straight into prayer, planned and then he was on the scene rebuilding the wall. When we study more of Nehemiah together, I will discuss the attributes of Nehemiah that God wants for us to adapt.

REFLECTION: Game Plan: Version 2021

We may have plans for 2021 but life can happen. Maybe a pandemic... Isnโ€™t it intriguing that a year ago, a pandemic was not something we thought about? ANYTHING can happen in 2021, so we need to ensure that we learn from our mistakes and really leave everything to God (if we didnโ€™t the year before). Now that we know that 2020 is over and we already reflected on what we gained or lost, we can have a moment of, โ€œWhat we finna do different this yearโ€, and actually stick to it!!

REFLECTION: Ending of 2020

2020 is one of those years that many people wish never happened, or donโ€™t even want to mention when they take a trip down memory lane saying, Remember that time weโ€ฆ?โ€ I, for one, am one of the few that really loved what 2020 had in store for me. Even in light of the biggest problem of 2020 being #coronavirus, I have to say that 2020 was one of the best years of my entire life.

Christmas Poem: To the ONE

To the one that thought of me when dying. To the one who said before my birth that I am created in His image and likeness. To the one that thought of me before I was formed in my mother's womb. To the one who created it all and thinks of me. To the one that called me friend and still has time to be my dad. To the one who is Emmanuel, Yeshua and ABBA. To the one who says, "I AM THAT I AM".
