NOTES: The Power of Vision

Speaker: Dr Myles Munroe

Concentrate on one gift and stir it up.

I will decide to do one thing and stir it up.

The one you stir up will lead the others.

The bible says we should stir up our own gift.

Jealousy is an energy leak and will take the passion of life.

Stir means to turn, to refine, to develop, to sharpen, to enhance, to improve, to use.

That’s where education comes in, it refines your gift.

A bribe is seen as a charm by the one who gives it; they think success will come at every turn.

Proverbs 17:8

Don’t work for money.

Your gift gives you back your energy and your strength.

Get your gift stirred up and maybe you’ll get married.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your heart.

Your dream and your present life should be linked.

If you find your gift, you’ll find strength and passion.

If you do things half-hazardly you’ll always be employed.

Put your life into what you know you have on the inside.

People pay for years of investment. Soon you’ll be a consultant, just to show up. Not necessarily your work.

He that turneth his gift prospers. Work doesn’t make your rich.

Your work should give you money for you to invest in your gift.

I hope your gift becomes your job.

Every good and perfect gift comes from above (verse)

Give it back to God.

You’ll be called Good and faithful if you are using your gift

Curses or be called wicked If you bury it.

Good Master – was how they described Jesus. God wants you to be good at what you do and master it.

Find your gift and name yourself that.

Anything that distracts you from your purpose you should stay away from.

Know what you came to do.

26 One of the high priest’s servants, a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off, challenged him, “Didn’t I see you with him in the garden?”

John 18:26

Jeuss didn’t allow people to distract him from his gift.

You’re supposed to be known or famous for something.

Phil. 2 – There were many that were there. They even compared him. His gift was used so effectively that God gave Him a name. He took on the form of man, no reputation.

How? He stayed focused on one thing, even until death.

Jesus’ name was so powerful that they bow in heaven and earth.

You don’t need reputation but focus.

God wants you to be a consultant not an employee for the rest of your life.

Do what others have never done and make a niche for you. Then they’ll need advice from you.

Don’t do so many things that you are known for nothing.

Attend seminars, study and more books, meet those doing that business.

People don’t want an experimenter on their job.

A consultant doesn’t get paid for what they do, but what they know and you can’t know if you don’t invest.

Refine your gift so that it can be packaged.

You should die as a consultant.

You’re on your ay to become boss of your own gift.

What is a consultant? A counselor. Jesus’ second title was counselor. He was the specialist.

He earned it because he poured his life in that work..

Challenge yourself that when you die people miss you.

Earn your way to counsel. What you do now should add to your credibility.

Don’t work for money but to become a counselor.

Study. Go and learn.

Ask them questions.

Learn everything so you can be a consultant.

Every month I have to read books because I have to be on the cutting edge.

You were born with the ability but you have to make the capability.
