2021 has officially begun and many of us are almost a week in on our new routines (or old refined ones) and some may still be on Pinterest looking for productive daily ideas that can be added to their weeks.
As a personal lover for Podcasts and my friends constantly asking me for Podcasts to listen to, it was only fair that I put my blog fam on to some as well. On that note, I recommend Google Podcast for Android devices and ofc Podcast for Apple users.
1. Real Talk Kim

This podcast is really for people who need to hear it from someone who will take no excuses. A lot of us are in the same place as 10 years ago and we need someone like Pastor Kimberly Jones to really tell us that we NEED TO GET UP. From the recently divorced, to the college kid who just cannot seem to be fully themself around people. This podcast is for you โผโผ
2. Bought + Beloved

“And we’re recording…” Most know Kirby Minnick-Kelly from her YouTube Channel or when she speaks at conferences. She is absolutely wise and I would really advise her to people that need to see the Word come to life in their own life in a creative, quirky and weird but fun way. Her personality really draws people in and her message of spreading the gospel really is good for believers who want and desire God. Her focus for the podcast is faith and life and of course topics that matter to this generation. (Pulled some from her Podcast description).
3. The Godly Dating Podcast

Where the Jamaican’s at? I know that Tovares is Jamaican so… lool. Anyways. This podcast is not only for Christians that are dating or single Christians with the intention of marriage. I believe this podcast really is for everyone. I believe that there are many things that we can learn as individuals about the other gender that helps us have better friendships and relationships with them. Also, Tovares and Safa discuss things that are occurring in today’s society and also in the modern church. The influence of media and spiritual maturity. You see? They are goodddtttttt.
4. Diary of a Jesus Girl Podcast

Now the question is, are you ready to learn? Are you ready for someone to basically preach into your ear when doing morning jogs? No but seriously guys, if you want to be more practical with your walk with Christ and be more serious about your healing process as a Christian because saved doesn’t mean you don’t have issues now… or of no blemish. Let us unlearn that today. Hut yes. Entrepreneur and Author Crystal Daye (personally a fave because she published my dad’s first book) but yes. She tackles EVERYTHING. From breaking up with comparison to answering God’s Call when you feel unqualified, our big sister encourages us with every guest and with every word. Truly, one for the books (get it because… okay I’m done lool).
5. Smart, Fabulous & Single

It’s you thinking that this was not a hit for me. Beyond our imagination. Showstopping. Jamaican have flavor. I am personally a fan. I- There are no words other than… “she covers everything and everyone”. See I said this and yall thought I was tripping. Showstopping. *cues Curtis Payne “Yah heard me?!”*. This podcast really is for all of us. We all have a relationship status. We also can all learn from different statuses. Singleness is not a deficiency. You should really be whole, right? But in the meantime while you are waiting on a Boaz if you are Ruth or a King is looking for an Esther, we all need to have these discussions. I’m talking ‘dealing with sexual urges’ and ‘breakups’. In a world where relationship topics sometimes are taboo, as Christians we need to talkaboutit.
6. Life and Godliness w/ Jo

I just want to say that a youth pastor put me on and I can say, this podcast is a gift that keeps on giving. Confession// I usually listen to this podcast when I am making breakfast. I high key cannot wait to see what is to come in 2021. A new podcast on the block but with so much knowledge and of course a Godly perspective.
7. The Proverbs 31 Ministries

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. I am internally screaming becuase I loveeee Lysa. All my friends know that you could buy me one book from her and I will treasure it. You read right though, the title. Yessurr. I know this one is for the ladies, but sometimes we learn better about the other gender by hearing how they talk to each other and how the explain things to each other. This podcast really circles around every day situations in the life of a Christian woman. We may fall out with another person or we may know a friend that is dealing with infideltity. Whatever it is, you will learn something after listening to this podcast. Also, as believers you know we need to be fervent in prayer and we also need to build on that relationship we have with God. There are some episodes on prayer and it really would be good especially for those who struggle in that area or those who may need to unlearn things to relearn how to correctly do some things.
8. Our Daily Bread

We all need a few minutes when we are brushing our teeth, getting our hair brushed up from the style we did last night and prepping for our skincare routine – to listen to a 3-5 minute word from Our Daily Bread. I don’t know about your house but my house has their devotional every year. I would recommend this one especially to those that have “too busy schedules to spend time with Abba” or people who want to listnen to something short earlier in the mornings to pray or do their personal devotions.
9. The Jamie Grace Podcast

“I’m a God girl and I’ll always be”… the lovely Jamie Grace has been known for her catchy lyrics, her testimony and her life really. Her podcast really has been a personal benefit to my life because she doesn’t hide the flaws in her speech (like when she messes up) and she really knows scripture. That I something I value most in any Christian that is doing what they are called to do. You hear her mini Bible studies and her discussions about things in the industry, about race and discrimination as a female artiste and so many other random things that happen in her life.
10. WHOA That’s Good

If you know me personally you know that internally I am screaming. I love Sadie Robertson so much. Her life, her ministry, her preaching, her… I- okay. Buttt, if you are ready to hear conversations from people of different walks of life like Athletes and writers and the whole bit, this podcast is good. It really is in search of the answer to just one question. What is the best advice you have ever been given? So. I know you really want to hear some of the advice given to these stars so, HOP ON. And gift me physical copies of her books. Thank you so much.
I really do hope you subscribe to these podcasts. They are really gooodddd. Also, many of them have ministries that go beyond just podcasting so you can check out the books, the sermons etc, don’t limit yourself mayne. Until a next one. Be safe and unlearn to relearn.
