TEA TIME WITH RUTHIE: Palm Sunday

I know that although many of my readers are Christians, there are a lot of people out there that have no idea who Jesus is or what Palm Sunday is about. I know a lot of people in my life that are unaware of a lot of stories in the bible and to help them as best as I can, I'm going to take us back to Sunday School. Today's topic is: PALM SUNDAY!!!

NOTES: How To Read The Bible

I do hope this helps someone, and if this one was not it for you, don't worry, I have some other ideas to get you on the road. We deal with practical steps over here. Tired of hearing, "Go read your bible" and people feeling draped and gone back to doing everything but that so let's go!!

TEA TIME WITH RUTHIE: For This Reason, Love.

A lot of times we respond to situations out of our emotion "at the time" and not how God wants us to so we 'lose control' and get ourselves in an even bigger mess. This is a Fruit of the Spirit, so we all know what that means already. Our desires should not be on a higher degree than what God dictates. FYI, it is not soft to be able to keep your cool. It also is not of good virtue to always be quick to anger, and it really and truly does not meet the standards of the Kingdom. How do you really expect to minister to someone after you argued with the taxi driver on your way to church? Really now, think about it. I have had experiences where my self-control was able to minister to others, in more ways than one, and please, it is not a Ruthie thing or a 'soft-hearted' person thing as I said earlier.
