It is important that I know that even when I slipup and start over, I do not dwell on the past but focus on the now and what is happening before me. Putting myself out there opens endless windows of opportunities. I am way more capable than I think.
A lot of times we respond to situations out of our emotion "at the time" and not how God wants us to so we 'lose control' and get ourselves in an even bigger mess. This is a Fruit of the Spirit, so we all know what that means already. Our desires should not be on a higher degree than what God dictates. FYI, it is not soft to be able to keep your cool. It also is not of good virtue to always be quick to anger, and it really and truly does not meet the standards of the Kingdom. How do you really expect to minister to someone after you argued with the taxi driver on your way to church? Really now, think about it. I have had experiences where my self-control was able to minister to others, in more ways than one, and please, it is not a Ruthie thing or a 'soft-hearted' person thing as I said earlier.
By the beginning of every year, we all gather our dreams, goals and plans for the New Year. Many of us invest in yearly planners, maybe products for that new business, but by the end of January or maybe mid-February, we would have gone right back to what we did in the previous year that caused us to miss out on great opportunities.
Hey there poetry lovers. Last Semester I was given an assignment to do from my writing club and I think I did pretty well for my first time. I plan on refreshing it in the future, but I need to start putting my work out there more often. I really would of course love the professionals to comment on how they think I could improve on this piece and of course, the rest of my creative work.
I know. The world we live in now, there is such this divide when it comes to people. We categorize each other by race, ethnicity and social backgrounds but we love and care deeply for animals.
