I thought I was being heroic to still function in some capacities even with some things holding me back. I realised sometimes saying NO, would have been more beneficial to the person, that me ending up freely distributing false promises and not partnering with those I planned all these things with, big or small.

Many times we decide to let this desire go and it comes back maybe a year later, or even a few hours after and we fall right back into the very same thing God saved us from. If you think about it, it has to be a decision that you make daily, just like taking up your cross, it has to be a daily decision you make to say that you're going to leave this at the foot of God.
