Reflecting on Your Progress: What Have You Achieved?

You, four months from now, could be looking back at 2023 with a sense of pride, knowing you’ve made significant progress toward your goals.

And you know me, I get in your business, to ensure you remember the goal.

Oh yes, you read right, this could be something we cheer to celebrate. Every few months, I have to ensure you’re on the ball and doing what you said you were going to do when the year started.

These would be moments that I should ask you about your purpose walk, your healing and your goals for the year.

If you didn’t make a quarterly goal list, or didn’t make one at the beginning of the year, go ahead a make one for the rest of the year.

If you’re a consistent or reflective person, we have some things to discuss, in detail.

Usually, if you’re using a guided journal, there are questions at the end of the month or quarter to encourage you to look back on what you’ve done.

Sometimes if we don’t have these prompts or people who will “force” us to take a stop, we get pulled at the fast pace of life. We forget about those big and small goals we want to achieve, and when we realise, we are 10 years too late.

PS// You can thank me for being your nudge by actually doing the work, or buying me something from my Amazon Thank You Gift List.

I know I sound like a broken record at this point, but sometimes who you surround yourself with highly influenced how you perform.

Can you confidently say your inner circle is a group of go getters and DO-ERS?

I don’t mean to brag, but I do. There is a beauty in knowing you can achieve your goals without needed cheerleaders behind you. There is also something eccentric about having people around you who are either focusing on their own goals and that alone encourages you or a friend who is constantly going to be checking in to see if you finished writing that album or if you applied for that study abroad program.

With all this in mind, don’t feel intimidated by those who seem to be doing THE MOST on social media or in your social circles.

Go back to your list. Go back to those things that were promised to you. Go back to the dreams and passions that you know you have and how valuable it is to any room you step in.

My dream for you is that you end this year STRONG. No year is perfect. You may only achieve some of your goals, but what matters is that you went and did the thing, like Angela Bassett.

As usual, I cannot wait to hear what you can confidently say you have accomplished in the past months.

Regardless of how fast or slow paced it is, you are alive. You have another chance at changing your strategy, developing a new plan, editing your goals or making this upcoming month your month of YES.

So don’t feel anxious. Remember that you too can be happy while you pursue your dreams and goals. Pray that those destiny helpers are not delayed, but come at the perfect time.

PS// This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be doing something in the meantime.

I read mail, so if you wanna chat about your goals, I’m a free bird!
