TEA TIME WITH RUTHIE: Fear The Lord

I remember when I was younger and finally understood what it meant to fear no man but God, and what the fear of God means versus the fear that the enemy uses to cripple us. It was really an eye-opening moment for me and I do hope that you can experience that revelation as well in your quiet time with God.

To Think About:

What Does it Mean to Fear the Lord?

Here are some verse that you can reflect on for this week.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 1:7

Better a little with the fear of the LORD than great wealth with turmoil.

Proverbs 15:16

To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

Proverbs 8:13

The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, turning a person from the snares of death.

Proverbs 14:27

And he said to the human race, “The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.”

Job 28:28

The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.

Psalms 25:14
