JUNE: End of Month Reflection

When I started this month, I had a lot of things in mind as it relates to how I would spend it and the goals that I’d want to accomplish by this time. This month, combined with the last days of the previous, was the most difficult time of year 2021 for me so far.

I had to readjust to timetables again and also using my time wisely. I also realised that most of my accomplishments or drive to reach those accomplishments never came because of passion anymore, but I had to be disciplined in order to get things done.

I think I addressed this before. I talked about accountability and consistency, in Part 1 and Part 2.

But I can confidently say that I ended this month on a good note and I am excited to see what God has in store for me

  • Don’t go to far out that you’re hard to reach.
  • Know your A Team. Know the people that you can be vulnerable with and they won’t withhold the truth from you.
  • There is no rush. Plan, plan, plan.
  • Time is valuable and opportunities are time sensitive so be ready for them.
  • Know that your worship breaks barriers.
  • Reach out to those who you know need to know that someone is looking out for them.
  • Ensure that you are gracious to everyone.
  • Thank those who helped you in your most vulnerable times.
  • Grow up, not every fault should be examined and sometimes the problem is you.
  • Look out for others. You cannot only think about yourself, imagine if everyone on the Earth did.
  • A big part of growing up is being able to admit your faults, don’t expect everyone to take the blame and you cannot take responsibility for your own contribution.
  • Not everyone needs to know where you are, where you have been or where you are headed.
  • Your only competition is your yesterday’s self.
  • Do what you need to do right now and watch God do the rest.
  • Be kind always.
  • Apply, apply, apply.
  • Put yourself out there.
  • Sometimes you’re going to fail and you’re going to be denied, but you need to keep going.
  • It’s okay if someone you know is doing exactly what you want to do, it’s just showing you that what you want to do is very possible. Just get your work done and do it from a pure heart and not competition.
