TEA TIME WITH RUTHIE: Verses to Help Others Feeling Anxious

Most if not all of us are well aware of family members or friends who are feeling anxious. For the most part we know some people don’t really want to hear a bible verse or you being all spiritual in that moment, but have you thought about these verses giving you wisdom in how to help your loved ones overcome anxiety?

It obviously is for you to also tell and show them that you care about them and where they are emotionally. I do hope these verses help you to add peace to their life and remove everything that is causing their anxiety.

Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.

Proverbs 12:25

I want you to be free from the concerns of this life. An unmarried man can spend his time doing the Lord’s work and thinking how to please him.

1 Corinthians 7:32

Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”

Isaiah 35:4

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

Matthew 6:27

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

1 Peter 5:7

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 6:34
