So I watched a video from Switch Youth, and some of you already know that I watch their videos as often as I can.
There are a few things that I took away from the session and I wanted to share it with you guys. I’ll share the video so that you can watch for yourself and also get what you can form it because it was really good.
Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
Luke 6:36
- We should live spiritually holy lives in person and online.
- You cannot disconnect the mercy of God from the “Holy” of God.
- God’s mercy is relentless and available to everyone.
Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”
Matthew 9:13
- Hosea’s marriage was God’s representation to the world of what the relationship with God and men is like.
- Mercy is choosing peace over punishment.
- “As far as it is dependable with you, live at peace with everyone.”
