So I never got a lot of time to really do some things when I was younger because I was the “shy” one and I allowed fear to rob me of almost every opportunity. Now I say almost because there were some things that I had to do because it was compulsary. This actually brings me back to my first day of Preparatory school. there is a high possibility that I never understood that this is something I had to do on my own, every single day.
Since I am older and ready to take on the world (not me hearing the Girl Meets World Theme Song), there are a FEW things that I definitely want to take on. Now this may be a bit too much for you or maybe you think this is a stroll in Devon House and respectfully, I salute you!
Skydiving
Who doesn’t eventually want to try skydiving at least once in their life? Hear me out, I have tried doing ziplining at least twice so you know I may actually be qualified to go to the next round.
Rope Twist Hair
Now I know many of my Caribbean friends are literally wondering what actually is going on. I know how to do everything as it relates to hair except this. I can braid, dye, process and trim but when it comes to this, I have been in the beginners stage, since the beginning.
Dance with Elephants
It is going to be so strange for others to see me like this but I really love the circus. Technically I have never been but the experiences that others had and also the ways that I have been exposed to it have been really welcoming and convincing that this is something I would want to do.
Horse Grooming
If you do realise, so far we have been in the sky, on elephants, in my hair and now we move to this… I think I need prayer guys. But in all seriousness, I have always been fascinated in horses and how they are groomed. I remember or a few weeks I dug really deep in the internet and I must admit, I became more appreciative of horse owners. I think maybe it’s how big they are and their air but I really just love watching them getting their hoofs cleaned and “painted”, I love seeing them being soaped… Okay I just love horses and barns and hay.
