I won’t be doing a lot of talking today just leaving some questions from the video that you can answer later.

HOW TO ACTUALLY READ THE BIBLE

1. What is the Bible? You need to know what it is to know what to do with it.
2. How does this part of the Bible fit into the overarching story? (Context is everything) 
3. Who is the author? The same word from 2 different people means something different. So know ego is speaking.
4. Who is the audience?
5. What is the historical and cultural context for when this took place?
6. What point is the author trying to make?
7. How does this portion of scripture help us become the kind of person who can love others the same way Jesus has loved us?
