Some of you are already disinterested because you only drink coffee or juice. But, let’s look at some of my loved teas, which I must say my old self is proud of me. When I was younger, I skipped this step. If it wasn’t Milo, I was absent from that tea party.
And you know I couldn’t resist adding a little analogy to teas. Firstly, many of us need to know who we are and what we are called to do. Some teas specialize in skin health and others focus on detoxing the internal parts of our body. Some only reach the interest of some and that is okay. Some of us will never be introduced to a group and some of us will only be called on when needed, and that’s okay. Help them with their tummy ache or when their hair is damaged. As long as you are functioning to the greatest capacity in what God has called you to do, you are the perfect tea. Now, that’s the tea!!!
Green Tea

What I love most about this tea is the calmness it makes me feel. For those on their natural journey, this is actually really good to rinse your hair in. I found out that some people use it as a toner in their skin care routine. I washed my face with it a few times for a season and I was really proud of the results. I even bought some over the weekend to use.
Black Tea

I never knew this tea existed until last year when a family friend gave my mom some. I absolutely love this tea. The benefits are literally endless and I need to find it in the store again. It is a really good substitute or a healthy substitute for coffee. It is almost prepared in the same way as well. It is really good.
Lemon Tea

By today’s date, lemon has been featured on my blog, how many times now? That’s what I’m telling you, we have been with each other for so long. I would advise to use the natural lemon and squeeze it into warm water in the mornings. That’s a great start to your day and your digestive system will thank you for it. There are of course some bottled ones that you can buy at the supermarket, but mommy says, “buy the one that says REAL”. Let me not remind her what I accidentally did this weekend…
Turmeric Tea

“I’ve been thinking about you.” Okay, see with me. I love turmeric. I love what she stands for and I love her relationship with ginger. I’ve used her in soaps and I always try to add some to my meals. I wish I knew turmeric when I was younger, although it maybe wouldn’t feel like a choice to drink. If using on skin, be careful of the stain of course because this also twins with curry.
Ginger Tea

Honestly, I like ginger with something. I’m not going to just drink ginger tea because it’s here. Not at all dearest. I sometimes do lemon and ginger or something thing like that. Maybe I’ll “grow up” but I hear all the Jamaican grandmother’s even now, “it good for you, drink it”.
Please, let me know if you just learnt about any of these. Tell me which ones you hate or love and what is your most liked tea that wasn’t even featured on the list?

I’ll definitely try to post more the second I’m introduced to more teas. I would go to a tea exhibit. 😭😭
