RECOMMENDATION: Apps for Any Christian or New Convert

I do hope you have at least one new application that you can try out. I would advise that you try to stick to one per section. You can try them out a week each and then decide which one/s are better for you. But I most definitely advise not using too many at once.

Disclaimer, I never recommend anything that I have not personally used, and with that, when I stand behind a brand or product, I do wholeheartedly.

Also, some of these apps have a section where you can make your own notes, highlights and comments. If you’re a digital person, I most definitely recommend you use them.

YouVersion

YouVersion!!Let’s start with the most famous or most used app in our church circles.. I think almost everyone has this app to use for their digital bible and bible plans. I would advise anyone that uses only this app to write what they learnt from the bible plans, just to ensure that you’re not just reading the word and plan for streaks.

Faithful: Sermons & Prayer

FAITHFUL!! I actually really love this application. You can adjust it to the minutes you want to digest the word, a devotional etc. It can expose some to new pastors and church leaders. I use it similarly to how I treat podcasts. So while I’m doing something, I’ll listen to the 1-5 minute devotion focus and highlight verses. It also fills up each date with the time you spent, until you meet the customized goal you set.

Enduring Word

ENDURING WORD!! I was introduced to this ministry around the beginning of quarantine last year from TikTok and I still use it today. I recommend this to anyone who needs to spend more time in God’s Word and needs an occasional commentary on verses or chapters, just for more clarity and understanding.

Bible Hub

BIBLE HUB!!!! This is another commentary and concordance application. It is really good. It has sermons, commentary, devotions and of course, many different bible translations to choose from.

Blue Letter Bible

BLUE LETTER BIBLE!!! Any right person loves a good dictionary, concordance, varying translations and everything in between. It may take a while for some to understand how to use this application, but it is worth it. Most definitely recommend to anyone who wants to STUDY the word and know more about the word, giving context and clarity.

I thought of adding a few others but I didn’t want to overwhelm you guys. So I’ll most definitely leave space for Part 2.
