In Part 1 , we talked about pursuing plans because it is something we need to do and not necessarily because we will get the applause from those around us.
I remember a few years ago I had big dreams and visions for myself that I knew were a part of what God had written beside my name. But because of how everyone around me felt, I didn’t pursue them and I dropped those dreams.
I remember thinking and having deep regret because I thought of how different I would be and where I’d be if I didn’t allow FEAR or SHYNESS to take control of my dreams and my choices.
Something that I learnt is that very rarely you’ll have people people that will hop on and agree to the dreams that you have, especially if they seem IMPOSSIBLE.
And because of that, it is our duty to ensure that because no one else can see our dream, that we do. No one else can believe in your dream like you can. No one can even envision your dream because it is yours.
Some of us have dreams that seem impossible because of where we are but I want you to know that God places all of these desires in us because He trusts us with it and it will come to fruition.
YOU have to be the one to go to those auditions, you have to save your money to go to where you need to, you have to make the sacrifices. YOU have to be accountable to do what needs to be done to be what you want to be. Do not let any earthly individual limit your greatness. And I say greatness because God is in you, you literally cannot fail.
A lot of us are waiting on that one person to come and “be there with us” but some people really will not support until they see physical fruit from your dreams.
A lot of people will not believe in you until your own belief has created something that is acknowledged by others.
You have to consistently be working on that dream. You have to consistently trust that what you want is for you. You have to keep yourself accountable to prepare and yourself to go through what is inevitable to get there.
Some people have the benefit of saying that their spouse was with them all the way or that their mother showed into every dream they had.
But what about you? You have no one behind you. Does that mean that you cannot be an award winning artiste? Does that mean that you cannot be a serial entrepreneur? NO IT DOES NOT.
It just means you have to work HARD and consistently right now so that when it is time, or when the world catches up, they can support you. It is all a decision you have to make to decide if it is worth losing some friends, upsetting some family members and making yourself uncomfortable.
The truth is, there are a lot of “I know it all” people in our lives and until you get to where you need to, you have remove them from speed dial. You can remove them from your most frequently contacted. Lose them for a season, and dig deep and work on that FAITH GOAL. That goal that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
Ensure that if you even mentioned it to an average person they would think you need to be administered to a mental facility. BE THAT BIG OF A DREAMER.
You have to let go of laziness and doubt. Be accountable to yourself and make the necessary sacrifices.
God needs you to trust in the desires He placed in you. God needs you to block the voices of those that think low of themselves and try to project that on you.
We don’t even realise that the reason may people do not believe in us is because they aren’t even pursuing their dreams, they don’t believe in themself, or they are not vision oriented. And until you are surrounded by those people, be that for yourself. God is really what you need and He was the one who placed it in you. MAKE HIM PROUD.
Are you going to invest in your dream?
