RECOMMENDATION: Fun Things To Do This Weekend

I know the most loved day of the week is Friday and that is because the weekend is just behind it. We are coming to the end of a beautiful month that I hope taught you a lot and so, let’s list some things to do this weekend with ourselves, family members and friends.

COSTUME PARTY

I am only recommending this for those who want to do this by themselves of they have a very fun family!! Let’s all obey the law okay? But mostly when I was younger, I used to randomly dress up like a tv character and act like them in my room, bathroom or in the mirror. Ahh, that brought me joy.

FILM REVIEW

Since I already used them in the previous suggestion, why not. Something I did learn in 2019 is that you shouldn’t spend time doing something that is not beneficial or productive. With that said, a lot of us are professional binge watchers. Now I’m not about to block your shine or tell you off like your parents, at this point that is a choice you made to not do your assignments, but… for this weekend. I have an idea. Why don’t we use the episodes or films that we watch throughout the week and do a review online about it? It could be a blog post, or even a YouTube video or voice over? At least let it be said that something came out of it. I’m sure a lot of opportunities can come from making steps like that. I AM NOT TELLING YOU TO DITCH YOUR SCHOOLWORK. Save this idea for summer or the end of semester.

SCRAPBOOK

I know that the last time most of you saw that word was probably in kindergarten but have you thought about creatively planning for the next month in a way that is also just very fun? This obviously is not everyone’s cup of crayons! It’s 2021, everybody has heard cup of tea before… But this is for those who really just want to put on some music and just spend time work their thoughts a bit.

READ

My sister told me that she saw this Would You Rather game and the options were to get stuck in a library or go to prison with a tv in the cell. Both of us ideally had to select being stuck in the library because why not? I think that’s the most peaceful place on earth. But, I knew that majority of this generation only read for school, and they barely do and that is very concerning to me.

While I was researching some other ideas I thought this was a great list that could be anyone’s bucket list to achieve at least one thing each weekend. Although we do have to keep safety protocols, this is a great list to complete; I challenge you to challenge yourself.

This list will never end and with that you know we can always do this another time and in a much better way.

Have a safe weekend!!

  1. I’m late so I’ll have to try these next weekend 😂😂. I definitely use to play dress up with my siblings. All the boys trying to look like superheroes 😂😂😂. Maaayne I’m having so many flashbacks rn 😂😂😂 those are the days. I’d choose being stuck in a library any day and that’s on Mary had a lambbbbbb purrr.
It’s the ‘not everybody’s cup of crayons’ fa me 😂😂😂😂😂😂

    1. 😂😂😂😂. Yess. I remember doing all of those stuff too. I actually remember putting crayons in cups in school for us to share. I also remember switching containers to get other colours. 😂😂

  2. These are fun ideas! I especially like the costume party one. We’re in lockdown here, and my sister is high-risk, so we’re definitely not having people over. Still, we can throw a costume party for ourselves! Maybe I should suggest to her that we dress up as characters from Kipo, since that’s what we’re watching right now.
