TEA TIME WITH RUTHIE: Not Too Broken For God

A lot of times we think that because of where we are, that is the final straw. We think that because we messed up this bad so many times, that God is too busy to help us out of this sin again.

Maybe you’re one that just someone strongly believes the lie that God doesn’t even care about where you are or that you’re troubled.

Sometimes I sit and wonder how God feels when He hears us say things like, “I just thought God didn’t love me anymore”.

And this is something that is so common in our minds and so wrong that I can only imagine how much that really affects how we see ourselves in the future as it relates to moving from where we are.

We give up on ourselves way before God is done with us. It’s like seeing a car being put together but you settle with being okay before the rims, engine, gas tank and paint job is done to the car.

Think of how out of place and out of function that car will look. Especially because some of the most important parts of the car didn’t have the opposite be tested and checked. Imagine using that car for transportation. You will literally be moving on an empty tank, well in this case, no tank.

But how many times do we as believers go through experiences to build our faith or build our trust and we walk out of that class before we get our final grade? We go into the world with a spiritual open survey that never got completed and we say that we are quite okay.

I don’t know about you but I can picture all of the things that can go wrong if a patient got off that operation table in the middle of an open heart surgery.

Sometimes our very impatience cripples our movements. If you think about it, how far can any one who has an open heart surgery go. Not far!! They will only have time and space to bleed on others, pick up other things from their environment detrimental to their health and imagine adding disbelief that the doctor wants the best for them.

You are not too far from God. He wants to show you that He does not have the same characteristics or track record as the people in your life.

And yes, people in the past have left you bleeding after you poured your heart out to them, but how much more patience, value, and tenderness will the one who created it have on your heart and you?

Some if us even started with allowing the head doctor of our healing process be those people around us and then they cut the wrong cord, they use the wrong instruments and they may have just made your situation worst.

But let me tell you something about Jesus, His intention never is to leave you alone or to have an incomplete surgery on you.

And I say this because Philippians 1:6 says,

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

NLT

His plans are good for your life. He never intends to be like everyone else who has mistreated you or misunderstood your process.

ALLOW GOD TO PROVE THOSE THOUGHTS WRONG.

Allow Him to prove to you that His intention is never to forsake you. Allow Him to prove that He gives every good and perfect gift.

Let Him prove that He was not done. Even if you allowed people to have access to you that shouldn’t, allow Him to take over and fix what they did wrong or even what you tried to do on your own.

Are you going to let God be your head surgeon?
