NOTES: Pursue His Presence

And as usual we start with CREDITS!! This was actually from a session in August last year. Loved it. Really hope it encourages you and as usual, God bless.

Moses carried the people out of bondage from Egypt and they saw how God’s power set them free.

They had the promise which was going to the promised land to get wealth and property and house.

In the promised land, there were some Giants.

Giants build houses as well. They are also a plan of the Lord as they built the mansions that were going to be built before the children of Israel.

Ex. 33:15-20

15 Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence(A) does not go with us, do not send us up from here. 16 How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us?(B) What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?”(C)
17 And the Lord said to Moses, “I will do the very thing you have asked,(D) because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.”(E)
18 Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.”(F)
19 And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass(G) in front of you, and I will proclaim my name,(H) the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.(I) 20 But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see(J) me and live.”

A lot of things were happening to the Israelites in the promised land.

Moses even wondered if God was angry with them.

Moses: God if you don’t personally go with us, then we will not go.

Is this something that you would proudly say??

Moses brought them into the desert and told them that he was bringing them to a place that they won’t have to build anything.

After 40 years, they saw nothing.

Even though they left slavery, it was because of the promise that had all the “promised” things.

They said to Moses…
Aren’t there enough grains in Egypt that you brought us out here to die“.

Moses didn’t care about this as he just wanted to know that God was going to be there with him.

Moses said he didn’t want his prayers answered… he only wants God.

Are you willing for some prayers to go “unanswered” in place of God just being with you?

That will take you through any desert experience.

It was worth more to Moses than milk and honey and the people showing love to him being a great leader.

God is the promise.
His presence is the promise.

Where He is, flourishes.

Pursue His Presence.

When you are after His presence.. all things will be added unto you.

His presence is better than any promise.

A promise can become a curse if God is not in it.

All you need is God, not money.

When God favors you and is after you – what can compare?

I am your exceeding great reward says the Lord.

If you gave him, you are already favored and blessed.

I prefer to be in a dry place with God, than a flourishing place without God.

God is saying come after me, not after those things.

He will never leave you nor forsake you.

He is your very present help in your times of trouble.

Refocus and remember who is with you.

Wherever God is, you already have the victory.

Pursue God’s presence, it is better than life.

Don’t let anything prevent you from connecting with Him.

Do anything possible.

Pursue His presence more than things.

If you honor God, He will honor you.

God is working.

Don’t allow the enemy to make you miss out on all the Lord has in store for you, by having you pursue other things and forgetting that all those things are in God.

God is not hard to find.

Ask and it shall be given. Just ask!!!

Pursue his presence.

Make God your first priority.
