It has already felt like a long week for me. Most of us have deadlines either personal, work or school related and might be feeling a bit overwhelmed. I know that these verses are not just for you guys but it is for me as well because who doesn’t need a reminder that they can do all things through Christ?
I added these verses because it is important for us to know Who We Are In Christ, but also what He declares and says over our lives and situations. You agree?
This is a difficult season for a lot of poeple for many reasons of course, but I want us (because I’ll be right there with you) to look at these verses, not only read them or do a quick scan, but take a verse and really meditate on it.
Maybe you use one for your devotions each morning and you really dissect to see what God has to say about this verse in your own life. You can go online and look at other verses linked to it.
Ask yourself questions like, “Why am I anxious?” or “What can I do while I’m not sure of what God is doing in my life?”
The goal is for us to be at peace with God and trust Him. This is something that a lot of us don’t realise, some allow God to love us but we don’t give Him full access or we don’t trust Him.
So spend some time this week each day to really reflect on where you are with God. Maybe you need to forgive God because you held Him in your heart and held that against Him. Do you need to let go and let God?
