For 2021, I do hope that you have included in your family bonding time for the new year. Mostly last year I got a few questions geared to finding out movies that are family friendly. Instantly a lot came to mind but of course, we do numbers over here and we all got work to go and get back to. I do plan on doing a review on them so if you want to know more about the film before you invest your time in it, even though I only recommend QUALITY.
As you can already see, this is a new category that I actually had buried dry for a long tme, but now that it is made public, you all must know that this section is literally based off questions that you all may have and would need me to answer. I really am expecting anything at this point because of course there are no limits to what you guys will ask and I of course try my best to come with quality content every time that I post. I also only recommend resources or goods that I have personally tried or used and actually love so here we go.
Heaven is for Real

Firstly, there is a book – I know and of course, this is based on a true story and you can watch the interviews etc from the real family on YouTube. This is a story about a little boy who went to heaven when he was in the hospital doing surgery. His dad is a pastor and of course a lot of things changed that day because it uprooted a lot of unbelief and “secrets” that were in the family’s history that the little boy didn’t know. It also has a famous painting, that I must say has been my wallpaper maybe all of quarantine on and off and also my Display Photo on WhatsApp. I know…

Good Sam

I watched this last December and I must say, this is a good film. It’s about someone just leaving a lotttt of money at the doorstep of people’s houses. There is a journalist that usually covers the “risky” stories like fires etc and she got put on this story just to make sure she “stays alive”. She also needs to find out what “8” on the bag means…

I Still Believe

My my my. This movie is so beautiful and what makes it even better for me is that it is based on a true story. I actually would recommend it to anyone that maybe needs to learn the significance of hope and prayer, support and also chasing your dreams and your desire. I think it was so beautiful to hear the faith of a young man and the ups and downs of that, even when he seemed to had lost it all!!
Letters to God

This is actually a staple movie in my household. We watch it every time it comes on as a family, and I must confess, I still tear up. The main character is really ill and he sends letters to God every night that he writes outside his room window up on his roof. He is one of the most loved people in his community and impacts their lives in very “angelic way“. From a very young age, I was about 8 when this was released, I was encouraged to really be kind to everyone and be an encouragement or light in their life.
An Interview with God

Firstly, I remember before I saw this movie I was thinking of how they don’t make movies like this anymore. This did not disappoint. The writers were very good to ensure that the responses that God gave were in agreement with scripture. It also answered a lot of questions that a lot of believers and unbelievers have. I do also love the tone of this film. It really showed a side of people that we often see but don’t frequently see addressed in Christian films and that was forgiveness. Yes, the main character has to go through some stuffff and of course, God be tripping as usual. I am also happy that they brought out the comedic side of God a bit.
The Case For Christ

You guys know that love films based on a true story and this one is FOR THE BOOKS I tell you. He tried so hard to prove that God does not exist that he… You should even recommend this to those who don’t believe because this man did challenge and question God’s existence. It is important that Christian’s watch this as well and see how they can prove that God exists, outside of scripture, because the reality is not every one believes in the Bible, but excellent FILM!!!
God’s Not Dead

This is an old film but I wanted to add Part 1 & 2 incase we have any new believers or those who aren’t to get a chance to know the films that raised me – no exaggeration. I also did not say that to say my parents did not raise me but what you do even in your spare time influences you so, yes sir. This is also another film on someone who doesn’t believe that God exist and I just want to say, you should watch to find out the reason why… Some argue it was a touching ending, so you will just have to see for yourself.
God’s Not Dead 2
